ABOUT OUR PUPPIES

We work diligently to socialize our puppies. They are introduced to cats, other dogs, the sound of gunfire, and car travel. Our children are a big part of our team, they will be your puppies first playmate outside of their siblings, so you can rest assured that they will get plenty of exposure to children. We work to establish routines at an early age with our puppies, so that potty training and other training is made easier when they go to their new homes. They will be easy to handle as we cut their nails weekly so they will be accustomed to being groomed and handled. Your vet will love that!

We send puppies home after they are 8 weeks old. They will have been evaluated by our Vet, be up to date on their shots, and microchipped. We deworm at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks old.

I know that everyone thinks their dogs are the best, but these truly will be some awesome puppies!

Once the puppies have arrived we send pictures weekly. Since we do as most breeders do and do not allow owners to pick out their puppy, you may not know which puppy is yours until they are 7 weeks old. This is why the puppy questionnaire is so important. It is our goal for the puppy’s temperament and personality to match your family’s needs. This “match making” practice is so successful, simply because we are around these babies much more than anyone and get to see their personalities bloom and grow.

"I’ve had seven golden retrievers during my adult life. After a referral from another golden breeder friend, we received our first-ever boy Golden from Rachel a little over two years ago. Our experience with Rachel, before and after traveling from Arizona to Georgia to fetch our new boy, has been a true blessing. Her litters are bred with care and intelligence and the process is an all-family love affair that involves plenty of cuddles between the litter and Rachel’s adorable children. Their farm-like setting and pond create a special place for puppies to explore and frolic. Rachel is a great communicator throughout the entire experience, and she shares plenty of photos and videos as each litter progresses toward their new families. Duke was the easiest puppy to potty train, and he’s very smart. He’s every bit the attentive companion I was hoping for."
